History

How we started:

December 2003 – a group of youngsters with and without disability organized a sport activity for which much interest was shown from young people. Many young disabled persons were interested to join us. May 2004 – creation of “Beyond Barriers” - organization to protect and support young disadvantaged people in Albania. Our members are young people with fewer opportunities. Everyone who helps and supports the work of the association can become a supporter of the association.

Our working areas include:

Human rights, education, professional courses, trainings, infrastructure, employment, counseling, youth exchanges in the country and abroad. Our association is developing projects and programs on the local, national and European level.
