Beyond Barriers (Albania), as part of the regional project “Stronger Voices for Better Choices – Youth Hub for WB&T,” invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Senior Policy Researcher. The assignment focuses on the collection and calculation of Youth Participation Index (YPI) data, and the preparation of annual monitoring reports and evidence-based policy recommendations on youth employment across the Western Balkans and Türkiye for the period 2024–2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct desk research and map relevant stakeholders, strategies, and data sources.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data related to youth participation and employment.
- Develop the Youth Participation Index and produce annual reports (2025–2027).
- Draft and present public policy recommendations.
- Collaborate with national researchers and participate in regional meetings (online).
- Lead national-level presentations and compare findings regionally.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is an asset).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in research related to youth policy.
- Proven analytical, methodological, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of youth policies in the Western Balkans, Türkiye, and the EU.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Albanian.
