As part of the Route WB6 project, the second workshop on the design of the exchange program in the
Western Balkans region took place. The event was held in Bitola in Northern Macedonia from 27.01-
01.02.2010 and aimed to create a framework with ideas for the youth exchange program as a result of
the Route WB6 project.

Through this project, various results are expected, such as reforms in volunteer policies, the creation of
a regional volunteer service and the creation of a regional voluntary exchange program.

The creation of the regional voluntary exchange program aims to enable the exchange of young people
in the Balkan region and to promote volunteerism as a means to achieve peace and reconciliation in the
Balkan region as well as to promote intercultural dialogue.
