From 5th- 7th of October, the Youth CARE partners, stakeholders, and invited guests gathered in Athens for the project’s Final Conference, marking the culmination of extensive collaboration, capacity-building efforts, and youth-focused activities carried out across partner countries. The event served as a key moment to present the project’s final results, showcase the tools and practices developed, and highlight the collective achievements of the initiative.
A central moment of the conference was the presentation of the EUAR Toolkit, a practical resource designed to support teachers, youth workers, and environmental activists in promoting climate awareness, active citizenship, and community engagement. The toolkit offers adaptable activities, educational materials, and methods that can be implemented in both formal and non-formal learning settings, extending the impact of Youth CARE beyond the project’s lifetime.
The conference also featured presentations, panel discussions, and reflections that captured both the impact of Youth CARE and the lessons learned throughout its implementation. Participants explored the innovative approaches introduced by the project, discussed the challenges encountered along the way, and shared insights into how partners adapted to ensure successful outcomes.
Additionally, the conference provided an important space for dialogue and exchange, allowing partners, experts, and young people to reflect on the project’s legacy and explore opportunities for future cooperation.
The Final Conference not only marked the official closure of Youth CARE but also reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening youth participation, fostering resilience, and continuing to empower young people within their communities.
