October 2023 marked a significant month as we celebrated Erasmus Days with a series of informative sessions across Albania. Aimed at promoting the values of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs, these sessions reached out to young people and youth organizations, especially in smaller communities where access to such information is often limited.
Locations and Collaboration:
The campaign, a blend of online and onsite activities, was vibrantly conducted in Shkodra, Elbasan, Vlora, Lushnje, Patos, and Kukesi. The CP staff collaborated closely with the Erasmus+ office in Tirana, the EU delegation’s youth department, the Ministry of Youth and Children, and other key stakeholders to make this event a success.
Objectives:
- Promotion and Awareness: To widely promote the ESC and Erasmus+ programs, highlighting their benefits and values.
- Engagement and Interaction: To actively engage young people and organizations, including experiences shared by ESC volunteers.
- Partnership and Collaboration: To reinforce partnerships among various stakeholders, showcasing a united effort in disseminating program information.
Achievements:
The event successfully fostered dynamic interactions between young people, ESC volunteers, and youth organizations. It not only raised awareness about the opportunities offered by the EU but also strengthened the network and collaboration among youth-focused entities in Albania.
