On 4–5 June 2025, a two-day seminar was held at Destil Creative Hub in Tirana in the framework of the CORYA Project—a sub-granted initiative under the REINFORCING Project, implemented by Beyond Barriers Association (BBA) in partnership with the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) (ZSI, Austria), and funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
📌 The seminar brought together youth workers, young researchers, academics, business institutions and civil society actors to explore Citizen Science and Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (ORRI) principles and application. The program included sessions on recruitment and retention, persona development, communication strategies, and real-life examples of Citizen Science projects in Albania and wide wise.
📝 The event was facilitated by Carmen Siller and Samire Gurgurovci, researchers at ZSI, and featured presentations from Kejt Dhrami (Co-PLAN Institute) and Valbona Mazreku (Milieukontakt Albania).
Participants also had the opportunity to engage in interactive group work and reflect on the outcomes of the CORYA E-learning Module, which was presented during the second day of the seminar, followed by a certificate ceremony for the first participants who completed the course in its first round 🥳
