On 11–12 December, Beyond Barriers held a two-day, in-person training with selected organizations under the subgranting scheme of the Stronger Voices for Better Choices project. Eight civil society organizations from Albania, all implementing youth-focused initiatives, participated in the sessions.
The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of these organizations in areas where they face the greatest challenges. Participants received hands-on guidance and engaged in practical exercises on project planning and implementation, reporting and monitoring, fundraising strategies, communication and visibility. They also explored approaches to enhance youth engagement, advocacy and stakeholder collaboration, equipping them with tools to design more effective and sustainable initiatives. Beyond technical guidance, the training provided strategic support to help organizations maximize the impact of their youth-focused projects and improve outcomes for young people in their communities.
This activity was implemented within the framework of the Stronger Voices for Better Choices project, supported by the European Union. The project is developed by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation in cooperation with partner organizations: Beyond Barriers, Youth Alliance, Institute for Youth Development KULT, NVO Prima, Democracy for Development (D4D), and Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı (TOG).
