We’re happy to launch our new project under Erasmus+ program! Youth-CARE project will run for the next 2 years, led by Beyond Barriers Association in collaboration with 4 expert organizations in environment and non-formal education.

This project is anchored in our belief that environment is a crosscutting theme of the future and that youth are part of the ACTION!

Our intervention aims to foster knowledge and equip young people with tools that ease analysis of environmental issues at the local, national and international level. Our goal is to shine a spotlight on environmental preservation and action, especially in disadvantaged areas where young people are directly connected to natural resources. Through the next two years, research, case studies, outdoor education, youth exchanges, youth led activities, training of trainers, practical toolkit and a big online campaign will shape our effort and include hundreds of young people, professionals, experts and institutional stakeholders.

From 20-21 January we welcomed in Tirana our colleagues from Athens Network of Collaborating Experts ANCE– Greece, TDM 2000 International – Italy, Montenegrin Ecologists Society – Montenegro and The Door Albania– Shkodra, Albania. During this kick-off meeting we shared the roadmap and plan of implementation, discussed on how to make a bigger impact and involve youth for preservation of environment through non formal education.

Youth-CARE isn’t just about individual growth; it’s about expanding regional cooperation. Together, we’re breaking boundaries and emphasizing the universality of environmental protection as a common cause.
