The seminar, held in Cyprus as part of the In Touch project, focused on testing and refining the didactic manual designed to support the educational and personal development of people with disabilities (PWD). This innovative manual integrates non-formal education methodologies, promoting inclusion and accessibility in learning environments.
During the seminar, educators, trainers, and experts in disability rights engaged in interactive workshops to explore the manual’s practical application. Participants tested the manual’s activities, tools, and approaches, providing valuable feedback for its improvement. The sessions emphasized fostering inclusive practices, enhancing social and professional skills, and empowering individuals with disabilities.
The event also served as a platform for knowledge exchange among stakeholders, strengthening the network of professionals committed to advancing inclusive education. The outcomes of the seminar will shape the final version of the manual, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of PWD and contributes to their active participation in society.
